ARTICLE 1 - SUBJECT OF THIS REGULATIONThe contest is organized by Veepee North, whose registered office is at 1190 Vorst (Belgium), Humaniteitslaan 292, registered with the KBO under the number BE 0885.188.247, hereafter called "Veepee" "or "the organizers". By taking part in this competition, the participant accepts these regulations in their entirety, as well as any subsequent changes that may be required (for example due to force majeure). If possible, the participants will be informed about such changes.
ARTICLE 2 – PARTICIPANTSThe contest runs from 04/06/2019 until 10/06/2019 midnight on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/Veepee.Benelux. This competition is in no way sponsored, managed by, or associated with Facebook.
This competition is only accessible to participants who have reached the age of 18, who live in Belgium, the Netherlands or in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and who are in possession of a valid e-mail address, with the exception of the staff of the company that organizes the competition and any company that participated in the organization of the competition. Winners who do not reside in the aforementioned countries will be refused.
ARTICLE 3 - PARTICIPATION MODALITIESTo participate, the person must be a registered member at Veepee and give the correct answer to the following questions on our Facebook page (facebook.com/Veepee.Benelux): “In which year was Mickey Mouse born?" and "How many products will we have sold in total in our Mickey Mouse sale?" No reply will be accepted by mail or by any other means of communication. At all times, participants must be able to provide evidence of their identity and age, so that the organizers can check them and, if necessary, punish possible abuses. In case of detection of misuse by a specific person, the organizer reserves the right to nullify all participations of this person.
ARTICLE 4 – THE PRIZE
The following prize can be won: 1 Mickey teddy bear as presented on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/Veepee.Benelux.
ARTICLE 5 - THE WINNERS AND THE AWARDING OF THE PRIZE
ARTICLE 5.1 - The winnersA total of 1 winner will be selected within the correct answers we have received. There cannot be any objection to the indication of the winner.
ARTICLE 5.2 – The awarding of the prizeThe winners will be notified one week after the contest period at the latest via a private message on Facebook with the request to give their address where they would like to receive their prize. Veepee reserves the right to stop responding to e-mails concerning the contest a month after this date. Prizes that are not given or claimed for whatever reason remain the property of the organizers. In case of refusal of the prize, the prize also remains the property of the organizers. Prizes are non-transferable and are neither exchanged nor paid in cash.
ARTICLE 6 – LIABILITYThe organizers can under no circumstances be held liable for facts that cannot be attributed to Veepee. Each participant is responsible for his participation in this competition. It is strictly forbidden to change or attempt to change the competition systems by any means, in particular with the aim of changing the results. The organizers reserve the right to allow the equal opportunities of all participants to be respected, in particular by operation of law or by any means at their disposal. In no case, the organizers can be held responsible for possible accidents, costs, direct or indirect damage that may result from the participation of this competition and the award of the prizes. The organizer cannot be held liable if in case of force majeure, it would be necessary to shorten, extend, postpone, modify or cancel the contest at any time if the contest circumstances require this. The organizers cannot be held liable for accidents, late deliveries, costs and random damage, regardless of the nature or cause. The organizers cannot be held liable for printing errors in the participation form. This clause does not apply in case of heavy or deliberate error on the part of the organizers, their representatives or mandatories. The organizers cannot be held responsible for the possible loss of data or the sending of incorrect or illegible data.
ARTICLE 7 - PROTECTION OF THE PRIVACY
ARTICLE 7.1 - Legal grounds for processingVeepee processes personal data of the participants and their legal representatives as part of the competition. This processing is based on a) Article 6.1. and b) of the General Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons. The data will not be transferred to third parties.
ARTICLE 7.2 - Data included in the processingIn the context of the competition and the interactions with Veepee, it is possible that we may collect various personal data: Identification details, your name, address, date and place of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, family composition & data that comes from the interactions you have on our pages on social media.
ARTICLE 7.3 - Purposes of the processingVeepee processes the personal data of the participant and its legal representatives in order to identify the winner(s) of the competition.
ARTICLE 7.4 - ConsentThe participant and his / her legal representatives agree that Veepee can process the data collected in the context of the competition. By means of participation in this competition, the participants agree that their name and first name may be published on the aforementioned website (s), without any compensation being owed to the organizers. Participants and their legal representatives can withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
ARTICLE 7.5 - Right on inspection, improvement, resistance and deletion of the data
The participants have access to their data and can improve them (free of charge) if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them deleted and have their processing limited. To exercise the above rights, it is sufficient to send an e-mail to email@example.com.
ARTICLE 7.6 - Retention periodVeepee will retain the personal data during the duration of the contest and the time it takes to determine the winners.
ARTICLE 7.7 - SupportThe participant and his legal representative have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority at Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Bruxelles - firstname.lastname@example.org).
ARTICLE 8 - EXCLUSIONIf Veepee is convinced, in the context of the competition, that a photo or text published on the Facebook page (facebook.com/Veepee.Benelux) could possibly damage the image of Veepee, Veepee will immediately remove this photo or text without prior motivation. This damage can be caused by (without being limited to) being caused by: visible or invisible (allusions on) sexual, discriminating, negative and / or politically expressed statements, negative and / or offensive statements and / or images directed or not against Veepee.
ARTICLE 9 – RULESNo correspondence will be made about this action. These regulations are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, only the courts of Brussels, in Dutch, are competent.
